November & December's..

Last of the swap! November was Deviled Egg Day, Sandwich Day and Soup month, so we got this cute recipe for soup. It opens up and you pull the recipe out of the inside.

And this one for Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup.
December was Apple fritter, brownie, Lemon and muffins, so we got Lemonade Cookies, the recipe is also a pull out.

and the last of the swap, it was a recipe for Brownies. I like how she made her December stand out. You don't get a lot of glitter now days!!

September & October's...

Sept came with Chicken month, Honey, and a Better breakfast, so the first one is for Sticky Chicken.

And Cheddar Pancakes with Pears and Bacon.
October was Cookie month, ham and Pizza, so we got this cute recipe for Pizza. Love all the little cutouts!

And she has the wrong month stamped, it should be October, I will fix it later... but we got Ham and Beans!

July & August's...

July was the month of Blueberries, hotdogs and Ice cream, so this first recipe was a double sider, and we got Sour Cream Ice Cream..

And Red, White & Blue Cheesecake.
Here she combined two, for Blueberry Lemon Bread!

August was for Peaches, Catfish, Rasberries or Watermelon. So she made this Tomato Catfish dish! Cute fish!

I love this one, Upside-Down Ginger-Pecan Peach Pie. You pull the sand out for the recipe!

This is June, and for June it was doughnut day, candy month, fruit & yogurt month.

March & April's...

So, to continue on, here is March's entries. March was Peanut Butter month, Irish Month & Peanut month, so we got a Peanut Butter Pudding Dessert.

And Peanut Butter Fudge Oreo Cookie Pie! I love the buttons on this one!
April was the month for Pecans, PB&J day, Carmel popcorn day, & cheese ball day. So the first one I got was for Carmel Corn.

And this one for Bluebird's Carmel Corn.

I hosted a swap!

I got a new background to my blog! Hope you like the change! I do! I love purple and yellow. Those are my two most favorite colors!!

I hosted a swap. It was, It's National What Day? People joined and they signed up for a certain month,and then found out what month it was, and made a recipe to share on 6 by 6 layouts. So, I made a cover for everyone to send back in the swap, so now I am ready to share my swap with you!

Here is the cover. Everyone's was different, and some had butterflies...

The first month was January, and it was Soup Month. So we got this recipe for BLT Soup.

And this one for Mexican Chicken Corn Chowder!

February was chocolate month, cherry month and something else I forgot :P

So we got this recipe for Chocolate Cherry Pancakes!

Look what the boys found!!

Look what the boys found!! I should have taken a picture of him last night. He was nothing but a twig like thing, you could see his bones and his skin was tight, I thought he was a goner. But, we put him in a container, added dirt, water and some WORMS! Tismorning, here he is a plump cute little creature!
I looked him up on the internet, he is a Giant Idaho Salamander. Problem is, he is not native to my area of Idaho. I don't know how he got here. He is only about 4 inches long, not counting his tail.
Last night the boys found him in their window well. He was pretty cold and like I said, starving!
SO, we have a salamander....
Its ok, because 2 nights ago, Dilly, my white chicken, she got eaten by a raccoon. Now we have to pen the chickens up at night. Tismorning when Jade let Lucky out the pen, she went charging after him clucking and trying to peck him. She came up to me and you should have heard all of her chicken talk. She is very PO'd about being penned at night, raccoon or no raccoon.

Here are few recipe cards I have been working on... The first if for a monthly swap, my month was September. The theme was Jewish, so I chose bagels.

This one was April, Eggs, so I did egg salad sandwiches. I add chicken to mine...

The best banana cake ever...

I found this recipe the other day on a recipe site. It is really strange, as you bake it for over an hour, then when its done baking, you toss it into the freezer for an hour!
So, I tried it and man, was it good! My mom had some too, and asked me to make a recipe page for it. So here is my recipe page.
I had fun making the flowers, I got this die from sizzix, its an old one, I know, but I just got it. But it matched the flowers in the decorative paper really well, least I thought it did! My camera is still blurry in the corner... I think I figured out what it was, but we will have to see.

I think the blurry is a certain child who wasn't to touch the camera, fingerprint!

6X6 Recipe Share

I did a couple of simple layouts. They were fun and fast to do, if you don't count all the embellishments. :) It took forever to cut them all out! Then to glue it all together! It was worth it though I think.
This first one is for Bubbles. My boys were bubble freaks, and not so much now, but when they were littler..(is that a word?) I took my friends girls to the fireworks this year and I bought them some bubbles. They had a fun time. I got a new product the other day called Smooch. Its a shimmery spray, so I used that on the bubbles too.
This one is Jade's recipe. He came home from school with it and wanted it right then. I don't keep orange juice on hand, so he had to wait. But he loves it. So I made this one for him, the orangey paper for the background is shiny. Really pretty, then I inked it up with splatters of pink. It took forever to make all the fruit and glasses!!

Been gone awhile!

We went camping. We're going camping again. Most of the month!! So its going to be spotty here. I did do some things though...
Here is my first thing. I did some bookmarks. The base is purple, I embossed the red with with my stamps called "dream garden" I colored a few things in with gold paint.... Then I punched holes in the top and strung wire through them and put beads on them. The bookmark is 6 inches by 2 1/2.
Seems like there is something wrong with my camera, the bottom corners of my pictures are blurry...so sorry!
Here are a couple of recipes I did from ETM. I totally redone them though, so they don't look anything like the original. But, that's me! This is Raspberry layer Dessert.
